Friss Pitch is a unique talent development platform that provides young filmmakers with professional preparation and international exposure, helping promising projects enter a real, professionally supported development pathway.
At the public pitch forum, approximately ten projects selected from the submitted applications will be presented by their creators (directors / screenwriters / producers).
The best film project will receive the Lovas Nándor Award, named after the late producer, which includes a cash prize. In addition, the jury and the Friss Hús organizers may grant professional support and further awards to the most promising projects.
Required submission materials:

Synopsis in PDF format (recommended length: ½ page)

1–3 page treatment OR full screenplay

In the case of a treatment submission: one fully written scene in screenplay format

Director’s biography (if there are previous works, viewing links are also required)

All materials must be uploaded as a single PDF file, with a maximum size of 10 MB.

March 1, midnight, 2026
From the submitted applications, approximately ten film projects will be selected and presented by their creators before a professional jury (directors / screenwriters / producers – maximum three people per project).
The date and venue of the presentations will be announced closer to the festival.
SUBMISSION METHOD:
Applications must be submitted via the SUBMISSION PLATFORM.
All applicants will be notified by email about the results of the selection.
OTHER CONDITIONS:

Applications to the pitch forum may be submitted by the project’s director or producer.

Multiple applications may be submitted by the same applicant.

Participation in the call is free of charge.

Projects previously submitted to earlier Friss Pitch forums may not be resubmitted.
