This year’s international lineup is once again remarkably exciting and diverse.

Elizaveta Snagovskaia: How I went to the dogs, along with Europe

A lonely 21-year-old woman works as a food delivery rider in Lithuania and, without her knowledge or consent, is exploited as a mouthpiece for her home country Belarus’s anti-Western state propaganda - which suddenly makes her residency status in her new home uncertain.

Richard Feliz: Privado

Karl (55) does all kinds of handywork to survive - tonight he's fixing a whirlpool in a private brothel. As he's still digging into the mess left behind by recent tenants, the new ones already arrive exhausted from their previous travels and ready to pick a fight. In a clash of emotions, boundaries and limits are crossed giving way for unexpected bonds.

Katica Kozma: Praxis

On the night of their last shift together, the chief surgeon and his favorite resident save a man’s life and finally say goodbye to each other in peace.

Giacomo Esposito: The Changing Room

After losing his cherished notebook at his local gym, an aspiring writer is forced to reveal his artistic side to the men in the changing room, confronting his fears — and assumptions — about how they will judge him.

Andrej Zelenec: Things I don't understand

How to tell a child his dad is dying? No one tells eight-year-old Marek. Adults are acting strange, Marek‘s home is transforming, and he is left behind.

Katalin Blanka Bohl: Fog

During a day at a Hungarian thermal bath, a couple facing infertility finds their fragile bond tested as the woman grows entranced by the thermal water’s ritualistic allure.

About Would You Buy This

At this unique industry event, international sales agents and distribution professionals will provide live feedback to the invited creators of the films featured in the Hungarian competition program. We'll screen the first three minutes of each film, based on which the experts will share their insights into the film's potential on the international market. The aim of the event is to realistically simulate how short film distributors and sales agents evaluate and make decisions—offering a behind-the-scenes look at their assessment criteria and thought processes.

The session will be moderated by Jing Haase, curator and short film expert, head of industry at Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur.
