The film portrays the psychological phenomenon of narcissistic abuse. The relationship between a painter and his model unfolds in the film. The woman, Echo, has self-esteem issues, and only sees herself as beautiful in the paintings of the man, Narcissus. But as events unfold, she gradually realises who she is dealing with, and at the end of the film she leaves the dream world and stands on her own two feet.
