The Neighbours Film Festival Has Started in Ukraine

Friss Hús ISF takes part in a collaboration which highlights short films of the neighbouring countries of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine.

The project is coordinated by the team of the Kyiv International Short Film Festival and its significance rose after Ukraine was attacked in February 2022. Friss Hús curated a selection of Hungarian shorts for the programme.

Shows take place in two locations in the "Bavka" puppet theater (Teatralna ploshcha and in the open air on the banks of the Uzh River (Kiiaska naberezhna 21). Detailed information and schedule at www.kinosusidiv.com

The Neighbours Film Festival is co-financed by the governments of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia as part of the Visegrad grant from the International Visegrad Fund, whose mission is to promote the ideas of sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

The collaborating festivals are Friss Hús Budapest (Budapest, Hungary), Zubroffka Short Film Festival (Białystok, Poland) and Fest Anca (Žilina, Slovakia).
